JKPSC KAS Recruitment 2023: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) conducts the KAS (Kashmir Administrative Service) recruitment exam for various administrative posts in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Job Description:
Applications through online mode are invited from applicants, who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, for appearing in the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2023, in accordance with the rules laid down vide SRO-103 of 2018 Dated: 23.02.2018 and S.O 61 of 2021, dated 23-02-2021, issued by General Administration Department Government of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, and upto date J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2022. The details of syllabus and scheme of examination is given in SRO-103 of 2018 available on the website of the Commission i.e. http://www.jkpsc.nic.in.

The necessary instructions regarding filling up of online applications are given here in below:
a) Candidates are required to apply online through the website of the Commission i.e http://www.jkpsc.nic.in. No other means mode of application shall be accepted.
b) Candidates are first required to go to the JKPSC website www.jkpsc.nic.in and click on the link “One Time Registration” or click on Login menu if you have already created your profile with the JKPSC.
• Scheme of Selection/Examination:
The Scheme of Selection/Examination shall comprise the following successive stages:-
i. Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination (0bjective Type) for the selection of candidates for Main Examination,
ii. Combined Competitive (Main) Examination (Written) for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts, and
ii. Personality Test (Interview).
• Important Dates:
=>The Application Form together with instructions for flling up the Application Forms will be available at the website of the Commission from 17.04.2023.
=>Last date for filling of online Application complete in all respects along with the requisite fee (online mode only) is 16.05,2023.
=>Candidates can edit some of the fields in their online application form from 17.05.2023 (12:00am) to 19.05.2023 (11:59 pm) (3 days). Instructions in this regard will be made available on the website.
• Action against candidates found quilty of misconduct:
i.Candidates are advised that they should not furnish any particulars that are false or suppress any material information.
ii. A candidate who is, or has been, declared by the Commission, to be guilty of obtaining by wrongful support of his/her candidature by any means, or impersonating, or procuring impersonation by any person, or
iv. submitting fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with or
V, making statements which are incorrect, or false or suppressing material information,or
vi. resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for the selection, or
vii. using unfair means during the test, or
viii. writing irrelevant matter including obscene language or pornographic matter, in the script(s), or
X. misbehaving in any other manner in the examination hall, or
Xi. harassing or doing bodily harm to the staff employed by the Commission for the conduct of their test, or
Xii. attempting to commit or, as the case may be, abetting the Commission of all or any of the acts specified in the foregoing clauses may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution shall be liable;
(d) to be disqualified by the Commission from selection for which he/she is a candidate, and/or
(e) to be debarred either permanently or for a specified period:-
(f) By the Commission from any examination or selection held by them.
g) Bu the lIninn Territory Government from any employment under them.
