Social Welfare Jobs In JK: Applications on prescribed format (Annexure “A” to this notice) are invited from the eligible applicants for the below mentioned vacant positions of Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee and Member(s) of Child Welfare Committee (s), to be filled in accordance with the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 and Jammu & Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules 2021.

Candidates are requested to submit the printed copy (hard copies) of the application along with self attested copies of relevant certificates/documents in a sealed cover to the Directorate of Mission Vatsalya, First Floor, Haj House, Rail Head Jammu/ SDA Colony, Bemina Srinagar within 15 days from the issuance of this notice.
•Important Terms & Conditions
Step 1: Out of 04 Members of Child Welfare Committee in a district, one has to be a women and another an expert on matters concerning the Children.
Step 2: Candidates who have already worked against any of the above postions will not be eligible if found to have applied for second consecutive term.
Step 3: Eligible candidates will be evaluated on the basis of qualification, experience of work with the Children and the personal interaction by the Selection Committee.
Step 4: Last date for receipt of application shall be 16th day from the date of issuance of this advertisement notice.
Step 5: Candidates shall be in the age group of 35 years to 65 years as on 01-01-2023.
Step 6: Selection/Appointment shall be governed in accordance with the provisions of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 and the Jammu & Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules 2021.
Step 7: The person who on selection will be appointed as Chairman or Member of Child Welfare Committee shall have a term of only three years from the date of appointment.
Step 8: The person who will be appointed shall be paid such sitting allowances as prescribed from time to time under the Jammu & Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules 2021. No other allowance shall be admissible.
Step 9: Cases of mis-representation /manipulation of records / documents shall be liable for prosecution.
Step 10: Incomplete applications or applications received after the stipulated date shall be rejected. The applications of the candidates who do not possess the prescribed qualification shall be rejected.
Step 11: Candidates shall submit along with their application, certificates of all relevant qualifications and certificates of all experiences which they possess. If any qualification certificate or experience certificate is not annexed with the application same will not be considered if produced subsequently.
