Jkssb exams latest update On the directions of Home Ministry GOI Govt of J&K constituted High level committee comprises Mr RK Goyal, Mr sanjeev verma, and Dr Rajan Langer to review the functioning of JKSSB due it’s dismal performance from last 2 years.
The High-Level Committee constituted by the Home Ministry of the Government of India in conjunction with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has been tasked with reviewing the functioning of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB). The committee comprises three members: Mr. RK Goyal, Mr. Sanjeev Verma, and Dr. Rajan Langer.
The decision to constitute the committee was taken in light of the JKSSB’s dismal performance over the past two years. The board has been facing criticism for its slow pace of recruitment, lack of transparency, and alleged favoritism in the recruitment process. The committee has been tasked with reviewing the board’s functioning and suggesting measures to improve its efficiency and transparency.
Mr. RK Goyal is a retired IAS officer with extensive experience in the field of governance and administration. Mr. Sanjeev Verma is a senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and has served in various capacities in the Jammu and Kashmir government. Dr. Rajan Langer is a professor at the University of Jammu and has expertise in the field of public administration and governance.
The committee is expected to submit its report within a stipulated time frame, and its recommendations will be implemented to improve the functioning of the JKSSB. The move is seen as a step towards ensuring transparency in the recruitment process and providing equal opportunities to all eligible candidates.
